Venue

Massanutten Resort is located in Massanutten, Virginia and features 6,000 acres of mountain fun at its very best. This four-season resort offers many unique amenities including an Indoor/Outdoor WaterPark, Ski and Adventure Park area, two fantastic golf courses, farm-to-table dining experiences, shopping and recreation options, as well as a day spa for complete relaxation. Located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, Massanutten is easily accessible from many major cities.

Dates

The 2025 Graves Family Reunion will be held from Sunday, July 20th to Friday, July 25th. Check-in will be Sunday afternoon (specific time pending) and check out will be Friday morning (specific time pending).

Lodging

Our whole group will be staying in a set of condos that are close in proximity. The furthest distance between units is less than 500 feet, and all terrain is flat and easy to walk! This should provide a great opportunity to spend time together throughout the week. 

Each condo has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a living area, and laundry access. Each condo building has an elevator. There is ample parking in front of all the buildings.

Meals

You will be on your own for breakfast and lunch in your own accommodations or while you are out and about. There are a number of restaurants on the resort property, as well as local shops & eateries in McGaheysville, which is less than 10 minutes away.

We will gather for dinner Monday-Thursday in the Mountain Cruisers Room that will also serve as our evening meeting room. This meeting space is about a 4 minute drive from our condos. Dinner will be buffet style provided by Massanutten Resort. Accommodations can be made for special dietary restrictions so please be sure to specify any dietary needs on the Registration Form.

The Mountain Cruisers Room will be ours for the duration of our stay, all day long, and will be set up with a Kid Zone, family memorabilia displays, and chairs and tables for gathering. We will stay in this space after dinner for our evening activities. The Mountain Cruisers Room is nestled between the Family Adventure Park, the Ski Lodge, and Base Camp Bar & Grill. You can park at any of these locations and walk easily between them. Spend an afternoon at the Family Adventure Park, and you’ll be able to walk right over to dinner!

What are the directions to the resort?

Both Google Maps and Apple Maps work well to get you where you need to go!

Is WIFI available?

YES. Password will be provided in your Welcome Packet.

What is provided in the lodge rooms and condos?

Linens and towels are provided for each guest. Complimentary toiletries are available (hotel style) but we recommend that you plan on bringing your own to carry you through your stay. More information will be provided to help with packing as we get closer!

There are kitchens in every condo unit. Everyone will have a fridge, sink, microwave, and dishwasher. Some units have stoves & ovens, others have cooktops & convection ovens, but every kitchen has a way to prepare & store your food.

Each double set of condos (e.g.: A1 and A2) shares a small lobby where there is a washer & dryer.

How will meals be handled at this reunion?

You are on your own for breakfast and lunch. Dinner will be served in our event room, buffet style starting on Monday night and ending on Thursday night. Be sure to provide us with any dietary restrictions or food allergies on your registration form.

In your Welcome Packet you will receive a brochure that lists on-site and local restaurants and carry out options for breakfast and lunch.

What grocery stores are suggested?

There is a 7-11/Gas Station is at the entrance of the resort, and a General Store on resort property (right next to where we will meet for dinner).

The town of McGaheysville (<10min away) has a number of shops, local restaurants, ice cream, coffee, etc.

The nearest city is Harrisonburg (25 minutes away) which has Costco, Walmart, chain & local restaurants, grocery stores, etc.
